Amanda Meads is a qualified Florist with over 20 years of experience, started her training of 4 years in New Zealand, spent two years in Perth, Western Australia managing a flower shop, prior to moving to the UK, where she made London her home for the next 12 years. In that time Amanda has freelanced for leading Florists on major events and functions for the rich and famous in London, Europe and USA.
The Flower School offers courses in flower arranging and the essentials of the trade for business or pleasure. The Art of Floristry is an old tradition, we will explore both traditional and contemporary styles, with an emphasis on flowers looking natural. Each lesson consists of a demonstration by Amanda, followed by a workshop-style tutorial, where students create their own arrangements. This allows the student to master the techniques of the lesson, under the guidance of the tutor.
